Stephanie Hartselle, MD, is a psychiatrist with a private practice in child, adolescent, and adult psychotherapy and psychopharmacology. She lectures on personality disorders, psychotherapy, and substance misuse as a Clinical Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at Brown University. In addition to lecturing, she is a script and director consultant for media companies including Netflix and Warner Bros to improve portrayals of mental health in television and film. She is also a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Harselle has held a number of leadership positions in psychiatry including being the Medical Director of the Psychiatric Emergency Department at Hasbro Children’s Hospital.
