Sanja Jelic, MD, is a board-certified pulmonologist and sleep specialist who teaches in the Division of Pulmonary, Allergy, and Critical Care Medicine at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. Her interests include the cellular mechanisms of vascular endothelial dysfunction in obstructive sleep apnea, sleep deprivation, and COPD.

My goal is to make you aware that your sleep is an important component of your health and safety, and to help you recognize the signs and symptoms of sleep disorders and seek effective treatment for them.

She graduated from the University of Zagreb School of Medicine in Croatia. Dr. Jelic completed a residency in internal medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and a fellowship in pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center.
