Monique Rainford, MD, is a board-certified OBGYN and Assistant Clinical Professor at Yale Medicine. Dr. Rainford previously served as president of the Jamaica Menopause Society and the Jamaica Association for the Advancement of Midlife Health and chief of obstetrics and gynecology at Yale Health. She is the author of the books “The Maternal Glow - A Jamaican Woman’s Guide to Pregnancy” and “Please God Send Me A Husband.”

Education

Dr. Rainford received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania and her medical degree from Harvard Medical School. She is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Rainford also presides as National Professional Vice Chair of the National Society of Black Women in Medicine.
