Lyndsey Garbi, MD, is a practicing pediatrician and assistant professor at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. Dr. Garbi serves as the Chief Medical Officer at the pediatric telehealth company Blueberry Pediatrics, a high quality pediatric telehealth company. She is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Drawing from her special interests in pain and palliation of the neonate, she co-authored a publication on palliation in the delivery room. Dr. Garbi also runs a randomized-control trial to provide more data on pain medications for her patient population and has presented her preliminary data from her research around the country. 

Dr. Garbi founded Blueberry Pediatrics with the goal of providing affordable and easy access for all children to high-quality medical care. She has helped to grow the company across the country and runs the medical team and services. She believes all children deserve wholesome, evidence-based care, and dedicated pediatricians who are available to them at all times and for all needs. She is also a parent herself to three children.

Education

Dr. Garbi received her undergraduate degree from Emory University and her medical degree from the Sackler School of Medicine, New York State/American Program of Tel Aviv University.

She completed her residency in podiatry at Cohen Children’s Hospital and her fellowship in neonatology at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital at Westchester Medical Center. She also completed a certificate in pediatric bioethics from the Children’s Mercy Center for Bioethics where she studied under world-renowned ethicists and medical caregivers.
