Education She attended UCLA as a Regents scholarship recipient and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in molecular, cell, and developmental biology. Dr. Zhu received her medical degree from Harvard Medical School where she co-founded the Medical Mandarin course for doctor-in-training. She completed her ophthalmology residency at Doheny Eye Institute/ University of Southern California (USC) and Los Angeles County Medical Center.
